Up at 4 this morning and then worked a 12 hour shift !!! we had to take some plant to Beccles near the airport and I watched lods of tandom skydivers landing and there was a good breeze blowing !!! So I didn't get home until just before 5 and went straight home to get my gear and went to The Dip just behind David Coles with Steve Carter already out on 8.5 and his new big board. I rigged 8.5 and went out on the big xantos and the onshore wind made it perfect for a beat along the coast :) It took 3/4 tacks to make it to the pier at the same time as David on his formula kit and 11m and we had a good broad reach back even if the sea was very lumpy and I was a bit under powdered but still a top three mile reach !!! I had some fun in the rough water in the river mouth and I managed to fall in the rough a couple of times but survived without breaking anything !!! Nice hour + and maybe some more over the weekend :)
